Korea Environmental Restoration Technology, located in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, is a leading small and medium-sized enterprise in the field of design and construction for restoring contaminated soil. Founded in 1995, the company has grown by addressing issues of organic and heavy metal-contaminated soil arising from gas stations, military bases, and petrochemical complexes. Notably, they operate soil treatment centers in Eumseong, Chungbuk, and Cheonan, Chungnam, and have developed soil conditioners that convert sludge waste into high-quality general soil. Through this technology, they restore river dredged soil and sludge waste into soil resources. Additionally, they have developed their own heavy metal-contaminated soil stabilizers and inorganic coagulants that reduce sewage sludge waste, focusing on environmental pollution restoration.
Korea Environmental Restoration Technology possesses various technologies for soil purification, including in-situ remediation, soil washing, soil cultivation, chemical oxidation, microorganism production, and thermal treatment, as well as composting, wastewater treatment, solidification, and stabilization. These achievements result from their relentless efforts to preserve soil environments. Recognized for their technological prowess, they were selected as a leading company in the Technology Innovation Development Project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. They continuously research eco-friendly soil purification methods and export the developed solidifiers domestically and internationally. Starting with the Minister of Environment’s Commendation in 2013, they received the Korea Construction Environmental Technology Award and the Minister of the Interior and Safety’s Commendation in 2020, and the Minister of SMEs and Startups’ Awards in 2021 and 2023, acknowledging their contributions to environmental protection.
